The latest European Social Survey shows that Icelanders have progressively become more positive about immigration and multiculturalism and that the country now holds the most liberal views on these matters in Europe.
80% of Icelanders traveled abroad last year, taking an average of two to three trips out of the country.
Just over 60% of respondents reported being opposed to such marketing and 42% reported being “very opposed.”
Icelanders have become increasingly aware of and concerned about environmental issues since the turn of the century.
Icelanders who support the People’s Party and Center Party are most likely to opt for an artificial Christmas tree this year, while Reform Party supporters are most likely to set up real trees.
