Authorities Release Name of Icelander Who Died in Ice Cave

Authorities have released the name of the Icelandic man who died in an ice cave in Blágnípujökull glacier earlier this week, RÚV reports.

Ingi Már Aldan Grétarsson was from Mosfellsbær and was born in 1954. He is survived by his wife, three children, and five grandchildren. Ingi Már was a tour guide and, prior to his death, was on an outing with a Belgian couple who were in Iceland on a short visit.
