Sæbraut, a main road in Reykjavík, was closed this morning for nearly over an hour due to an unusual traffic accident, RÚV reports. The accident was due to a truck transporting pig carcasses to a meat processing centre. Pictures of the accident show the contents of the truck scattered across the road.
One individual who spoke to RÚV stated the resulting bottleneck was 10 kilometres long, reaching to the town of Mosfellsbær. The road has now been reopened.
